We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to create a sales process, and help drive Cybernerds marketing and sales process by nurturing and qualifying new business in North America

This is a crucial role that will be responsible for qualifying and nurturing new business and ultimately turning new leads into sales. The right candidate will be able to take a holistic approach to the marketing and sales pipeline and will be effective at uncovering business challenges to develop a narrative to help drive sales.

The right candidate must have a successful track record of growing both new business and expansion revenue with service providers. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline, delivering results against a quota, working across teams, and building productive partner relationships. The role of outside sales and business developer combines technical knowledge with sales skills to provide potential customers with advice and support on the products and services we offer. This position is supported by a base salary and performance/merit pay compensation plan.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute the overall sales strategy to maximize market penetration.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Management of your leads, acting as the primary contact for presales opportunities
  • Research and Identify contacts/companies to contact via cold calling and email outreach, LinkedIn etc.
  • Meet with and qualify new leads and opportunities, gathering appropriate information
  • Track and maintain relationships with contact base, setting tasks and providing timely follow-up
  • In alignment with marketing, develop a nurture strategy that incorporates outbound calling, emails, events, etc. to advance inbound leads to sales.
  • Present products and services and serve in introductory demo/ pitch sessions via remote conferencing tools telemarketing team).
  • Set up leads, opportunities and reports in company CRM
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Confidently have and control conversations with people you do not know regarding our brands, products, and services
  • Maximize the use of your time to reach the largest breadth of qualified customers as quickly as possible

Experience & Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or any business-related course (or related experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
  • Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
